Lachesis Publishing, the Canadian imprint and new owner of LBF Books, has announced their first work of YA Fiction: The Goblin Princess by Keith Gouveia, author of several dark fantasy and horror novels with publishers such as Carnifex Press and Coscom. The release date is TBA.

Another new publisher, Shadowrose, and its general fiction imprint, Shadowmere, plans to offer ebooks for teens this Fall. Already available is The Girl Who Would be Queen by Kilahara, a historical-fiction exploration of Elizabeth I’s troubled childhood. A sequel is in the works and should be available by year’s end.
